Am 16.01.2025 hatten wir unsere Everglades Tour bei und mit Caren gebucht.

Die Everglades-Tour mit Caren gehört eindeutig zu den Highlights unseres Urlaubes.

Als wir schon in den unendliche großen Park hineinfuhren, Caren mit ihrem Auto, wir mit unserem Mietauto hinterher, hielt sie nach ein paar Minuten an und zeigte uns die erste Aligatordame mit ihren Jungen. An dieser Stelle waren auch viele Vögel zu beobachten, jeglicher Art.

Wir fuhren weiter dann zu unserem Spaziergang durch den Everglades Park, wobei sie uns unendlich viel über Flora und Fauna erklärte. Und wir auch dort auf Alligatoren trafen.

Dann ging es weiter mit den Autos und wir stiegen mit „Wattschuhen“ in den Zypressenwald ein. Der Wetwalk ist besonders und wahnsinnig interessant. Wir sahen dort eine Aligatordame, die in ein paar Metern Entfernung wohl auf ihren Mann wartete…der aber an diesem Tag wohl Besseres zu tun hatte. Auf diesem Walk erklärte enthusiastisch Caren alles, was sie uns näher bringen wollte, aber auch das, was wir erfragten.

Die letzte Station war eine Kajaktour, wobei wir beim Einstieg ein oder wohl das große „Hauskrokodil“ am Ufer bestaunten.
Diese Tour führte uns auf einen wunderschöne Paddeltour, auf der wir durch dichtgewachsene Mangroven fuhren, auf dem Land auch wieder einige Alligatoren sahen und die Erklärungen von Caren aus ihrem Einer-Kajak zugerufen bekamen. Wir hatten einen tolles Zweier-Kajak.

Caren hat ein immenses Wissen, was sie uns sehr gern und freudig weitergab.
Sie hat überhaupt nicht auf die Uhr geschaut, so waren wir gefühlt einen ganzen Tag mit ihr unterwegs.
Wunderbarerweise hat es sich wohl auch so ergeben, dass wir „nur“ zu zweit bei ihr waren. Trotzdem hatte sie mit viel Freude und Gelassenheit uns den Tag einmalig, spannenden und interessant gestaltet.

Wir hatten am 27. Jan. Bei Karin eine 6-stündige Exkursion in die Everglades gebucht, die einfach nur super war! Sie hat uns über die Geschichte des Nationalparks und seine Entstehung erzählt und im Weiteren so viel Interessantes zu Flora und Fauna.
Ein tolles Erlebnis war auch die Kanufahrt mit ihr auf dem See, durch die Mangroven.
Als Biologin ist sie die beste Begleiterin in diese uns völlig unbekannte Welt der Everglades.

Wir haben Mitte April eine 7-stündige Tour mit Caren gemacht (Trails, Wetwalk, Kayak). Wir waren mehr als begeistert. Wir haben sehr viel gesehen und gelernt, Caren hat uns soviel interessantes und wissenswertes erzählt und gezeigt, besser kann so eine Führung nicht sein. Wir sind über den Anhinga-Trail gelaufen, haben den Wet Walk-Rundweg gemacht und sind zum Abschluss mit dem Kayak gefahren. Wir konnten Fische, Anhinga-Anhinga-Vögel, Kormorane, Alligatoren und ein Krokodil aus allernächster Nähe beobachten, weil Caren deren Lieblingsplätze kennt. Wir konnten uns gar nicht entscheiden, was uns am besten gefallen hat aber wir können diese Art, die Everglades zu erleben und kennen zu lernen, nur empfehlen. Wir haben Ende Januar eine wunderbare Tour mit Caren unternommen. Zuerst sind wir über den Anhinga Trail gelaufen und haben viel über die Natur erfahren. Weiter ging es als Follow ne Tour durch die Everglades auch hier wurde immer wieder ein Stopp eingelegt um uns die Natur zu erklären. Das Highlight war die Kanutour. Sehr zu empfehlen. Wir haben im März eine 7-stündige Tour mit Caren gemacht (Trails, Wetwalk, Kayak). Wir waren und sind (immer noch) mehr als begeistert. Wir haben sehr viel gesehen und gelernt, Caren hat viele Fragen beantwortet und uns ausführlichst aufgeklärt. Der Tag hat so viel Spaß gemacht mit Caren, dass man das garnicht in Worte fassen kann. Anfang Oktober waren wir fast 8 Stunden mit Caren zu Fuß und zu Wasser in den Everglades.
Es war unfassbar wie viele Eindrücke, Geschichten und Wissenswertes wir mitgenommen haben. Individueller und abwechslungsreicher kann ein Ausflug in die Everglades nicht sein!

Vielen lieben Dank für diese großartige Führung. Es war für uns alle (3 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder) ein sehr erlebnisreicher und kurzweiliger Tag. Wir durften zusammen mit Caren die Everglades hautnah erleben und haben viel Wissenswertes über die Bewohner gelernt. Dabei sind wir direkt an Alligatoren und Schlangen bei der Wet Walk Tour vorbei gelaufen und anschließend haben wir während der Kanu Tour noch welche zwischen den Mangroven entdeckt. Absolut empfehlenswert! Danke, dass wir so kurzfristig noch einen Termin bekommen haben.

wir möchten uns auf diesem Wege ganz herzlich für die schöne Zeit mit Dir in den Everglades bedanken.
Wir haben mit Dir eine Biologin kennengelernt, die uns diesen Nationalpark auf ganz besondere Art und Weise gezeigt und erklärt hat.
Mit unseren Kindern (14,16,18 Jahre) haben wir die Everglades erpaddelt. Die Übernachtung auf dem Chickee war für uns ein Erlebnis, das wir nicht vergessen werden. Du hast eine perfekte Vorbereitung gehabt und die Ausrüstung in den Kanus gut verteilt. Am Abend wurde von Dir ein leckeres Essen gezaubert und damit war die Abendstimmung unvergesslich.
Am Morgen wurden wir durch Kaffeeduft und einem zauberhaften Sonnenaufgang geweckt.
Mit vielen Informationen und Eindrücken von der Tour ging es wieder zurück.

Hallo liebe Caren

Wir wollten uns noch einmal für die schöne Ganztagestour mit dir bedanken.

Wir haben so viele Informationen und Wissenswertes erhalten, das wir diese im Nachhinein noch besprachen.
Wir kannten zwar schon einen Teil, aber eben nur durch das eigene Belesen.

Der Wetwalk hat sogar dich selbst noch überrascht, da es einen Tag vorher ordentlich geregnet hatte. Sodass wir einen Wasserstand bis über die Knie hatten.
Leider hatte der Alligator an diesem Tag "Ausgang".
Nichts destotrotz haben wir andere Freunde gefunden. Wenn auch unfreiwillig ... MOSKITOS.
Bow ... waren die anhänglich.

Bei der anschließenden Kanutour sahen wir reichlich Alligatoren und ein Krokodil (man war das groß).

Ich kann jedem nur empfehlen so eine Tour zu machen.

Ein Tipp:
Informiert euch nicht zu sehr über die Everglades.
Lasst euch überraschen ... das ist viel schöner ... und ihr werdet mehr davon haben.

Hi,
Es waren tolle Erlebnisse und unglaublich viel Hintergrund zu den Everglades. Dies hat unseren Blick auf dieses komplexe Ökosystem extrem geschärft.
Das wetwalking war extrem. Das ist in jedem Fall etwas was normale Touristen nicht erfahren. Die Sicht auf Krokodile, Alligatoren und Manatees hat die Tour abgerundet. Auch den Schlangenhalsvogel, Fischreiher und viele andere Tiere haben unsern weg gesäumt.
Es war alles in allem eine tolle Tour, die wir jedem empfehlen können und möchten.

Die Tour mit Dir wird uns noch lange in Erinnerung bleiben - es war ein wunderschöner Tag! Alles hat super geklappt. Den Kindern hat besonders die Kanufahrt durch die Mangroven gefallen, aber auch der Wetwalk durch den Zypressenwald war sehr beeindruckend! Nicht zu vergessen die vielen Erklärungen von Dir zur Tier- und Pflanzenwelt in den Everglades. So bekommt man einen ganz anderen Eindruck davon. der Kanu-Tour durch die Mangroven und dem Wet Walk durch den Zypressenwald bis hin zu deinen spannenden und ausführlichen Erklärungen der Pflanzen und Tierwelt war es einfach ein klasse Tag. ein Erlebnis besonderer Art mit vielen Eindrücken die wir mit nach Deutschland genommen haben. Absolut empfehlenswert für Fam. mit Kindern. Unsere 3 (10,14,15) sind aus dem Staunen nicht mehr raus gekommen. Wir haben mehr gesehen, wie wir erwartet haben. in der Karwoche haben wir als Familie eine Everglades-Fuehrung mit Dir erleben duerfen. Fuer uns vier war das ein unvergessliches Erlebnis und oft diskutieren wir, ob nun der Wet Walk durch den Zypressenwald oder die Kanutour mit Krokodil- und Alligatorbegegnung und wunderschoenem Sonnenuntergang das Highlight war. Deine interessanten und vielfaeltigen Darstellungen haben uns fasziniert, diesen Einblick haetten wir auf andere Weise nicht erhalten koennen. Und wenn ich hier in Florida noch laenger bleibe, komme ich auf den Wilderness Waterway zurueck...

Wir hatten gestern das Glück diese Mittwochsführung am Royal Palm rein zufällig miterleben zu können. Es war unser absolutes Highlight auf unserer Tour durch die Glades auf eigene Faust. Hätten wir mehr Zeit, hätten wir Karens Tour 100% ig noch gebucht. Ihr Wissen und ihre Leidenschaft ziehen einen echt in den Bann. Welches Glück, zur richtigen Zeit am richtigen Ort gewesen zu sein. Caren, herzlichen Dank für das eindrucksvolle Erlebnis deiner Tour. Sie wird uns lange in Erinnerung bleiben, wir haben soviel gehört und gesehen und sind sehr glücklich, die Tour mit dir gemacht zu haben. Es ist toll, so viele Details gezeigt bekommen zu haben.

Liebe Caren,
die Tour, die mein Sohn, mein Mann und ich mit dir durch die Everglades unternehmen durften wird uns noch lange in schöner Erinnerung bleiben! Ein absolutes Highlight auf unserer Reise!

Es war nahezu unglaublich, was wir alles erlebt haben (die Schildkröte, die riesige Eule, den durchwateten Zypressenwald, den Alligator in unmittelbarer Nähe, den wundervollen Sonnenuntergang vom Kanu aus und vieles mehr) und was wir von dir über die Everglades, das Ökosystem und die Geheimnisse der Natur lernen konnten.
Ich bin sehr glücklich, dass wir diese Tour gebucht haben, denn ohne diese hätten wir die Everglades nicht ansatzweise kennen gelernt. Man muss auch sagen, dass es wirklich ein Vorteil ist, wenn man die Dinge in der Muttersprache erläutert bekommt.

Vielen Dank für diese tollen Einblicke und deine Geduld beim Erklären und auf der Paddeltour ;-)

Falls jemand überlegen sollte, hier eine Tour zu buchen, kann ich nur sagen: absolut empfehlenswert! Ein unvergessliches Erlebnis! Nicht zögern, machen :-)

Liebe Caren - vielen Dank für die schöne Tour durch die Glades. Wir "Grossen" und unser sechsjähriger "Kleiner" hatten viel Spass und haben viele Eindrücke mitgenommen. Da Du mit uns Dreien alleine unterwegs gewesen bist, war alles sehr entspannt. Und dank deutscher Sprache konnte auch unser Sohn viel verstehen! Jederzeit gerne wieder!

Erfahrungsbericht:
Hallo an alle Interessierten dieser Tour, mein Mann und ich hatten die "Ehre" und das Glück an unserem letzten Urlaubstag in Florida im Mai 2015 die ersten Kunden dieses tollen Unternehmens sein zu dürfen.
Wir haben eine Kanutour durch die Everglades gemacht und sind einen wunderschönen Trail gegangen.
Seit Jahren hatte mein Mann schon darüber nachgedacht eine geführte Everglades-Tour mitzumachen. Ich dagegen konnte mich wegen meiner Bedenken, doch vielleicht Spinnen und Schlangen plötzlich viel zu nah sein zu müssen, nicht für sein Vorhaben begeistern.
Heute bin ich froh Caren, die supernette deutsche Tourführerin dieses Unternehmens im Everglades Nationalpark kennengelernt zu haben. Sie konnte mir durch ihre vertrauensvolle Art meine Bedenken nehmen und mich davon überzeugen, dass mich weder Spinnen, noch Schlangen oder Alligatoren "anfallen" würden ;-).
Fazit: - Eine supernette deutsche Tourführerin (bei der man
sich sehr sicher fühlen kann) !!!
- Tolle Touren (auch für Ängstliche ;-) ) !!!
- Wenn man im Englischen nicht mehr so ganz "up to date"
ist, kann man auf deutsch Fragen stellen und die
Informationen auf der Tour auch 100% ig verstehen !!!

Ich werde dieses tolle Erlebnis immer in Erinnerung behalten und sage: *********** 100% EMPFEHLENSWERT ***********
